Question 3

(a)  Outline God’s instruction to Joshua when he became a leader Narrate how the activities of this new king affected the Israelites
(b)   What three challenges can Christian leaders face on assumption of office?

Observation

This question was not popular among the candidates as only a few candidates attempted it. It is not a common topic and as such, majority of the candidates avoided it. From their narration, it was observed that candidates were not familiar with this story and were discussing more about the story of the fall of Jericho. In the B part, candidates also fell short in understanding the demands of the question. They were writing about religious related issues pastors and other clerics face in assumption of a church position instead of the challenges a Christians faces in attaining a political position. Overall performance to this question was below average. The required points candidates were expected to have written are;
