Most candidates were able to:

1. produce the sectional drawing to the appropriate scale of 1:50;
2. show the following elements of the building in section: earth filling, hardcore, concrete, sandcrete blockwall, mortar screed finish, timber, glass etc.
3. show the doors and windows both in section and elevation;
4. draw and label the timber roof members.

However, some of them failed to:

1. show the semi-circular and metal balustrade in section
2. represent the doorway at the lobby correctly;
3. show in elevation, the projection of the kitchen wall beyond the store.
