Candidates' Weakness

According to the report, the major weaknesses were:

• inability to use required terminologies in descriptions and definition;
• wrong spellings of terminologies which at times gives another meaning;
• poor handwriting which makes candidates’ works difficult to read.

(b)       Suggested Remedies

It was suggested that, to correct these weaknesses:

• efforts should be made to familiarize candidates with essential terminologies during teaching and learning processes;
• candidates should not just learn the required terminologies, but learn to spell correctly;
• candidates should be encouraged to write legibly and unambiguously.
