Candidates' Weakness

Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to:

• provide the required responses to questions on two stroke engine;
• state the purpose of the propeller shaft;
• state the advantages of the wire spoke wheel over the pressed steel disc type.

(b)       SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES

Candidates were advised to prepare well before sitting for the examination.  They were also advised to familiarize themselves with various diagrams of motor vehicle components.
