Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to:
           
                        -           state the merits of front-engine front wheel drive;
                        -           list four components in the primary circuit of the ignition system;
                        -           state the effects of too small contact breaker gap;
                        -           explain the term convection current.

            (2)       SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES

In order to overcome the weaknesses, candidates were advised to study seriously before sitting for the examination.  Teachers were also advised not skip any part of the syllabus.
