                        (b)       (i)         Condenser reduces arcing or burning of the contact breaker by
absorbing the flowing current.

                                    (ii)        The function of the contact breaker is to interrupt the flow of
battery current through the primary winding of the coil at pre-
determined intervals.

(iii)       The function of the segment is to conduct the high voltage current from the rotor through the high tension cable to each spark plug.
