General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favorably with those of previous years. The questions were straightforward and also covered a wide range of the syllabus. The marking scheme was exhaustive and flexible and the rubrics were clear.
The performance of the candidates was worse than the previous year with a population of 279 and a raw mean score of 15.0 and standard deviation of 7.21 againstthe WASSCE for School Candidates 2022 whichhad a population of 448 with a raw mean score of 16.0 and standard deviation of 7.48.
