A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES

Some candidates displayed the following weaknesses:

• Poor interpretation of question in Section B.
• poor draughtsmanship noticed for many candidates.
• Some candidates drew with no border lines, no title block giving information about the design.
•  poor dimensioning.

SUGGESTED REMEDY TO OVERCOME THE WEAKNESSES

• Candidates should practice more with past question papers.
• Subject teacher should spend time to teach candidates good draughtsmanship.
