Observation

Candidates’ overall performance was a little above average. They were expected to listen to a rhythmic dictation and then notate the rhythm on a monotone. Most of the candidates performed woefully in this question and were unable to notate the rhythm as required. This caused them to lose a substantial part of the marks.
