Observation

• Majority of the candidates performed excellently and the question was widely attempted by the candidates and they were able to answer the questions correctly. However few candidates were not able to sequential write steps for weekly cleaning the bedroom, they write lay bed before removing cobwebs, mop floor before sweeping, wash curtains, bedsheet and rug during weekly cleaning Therefore, they lost marks. The expected answers are:
• Open the doors and windows
• Remove curtains and mosquito net and wash them if dirty, other-wise shake well and air in the sun
• Remove the bedding and wash the bed sheet, bed cover, pillow case, brush and shake the mattress and pillow properly
• Take all pieces of moveable furniture and the floor covering outside and clean each of these according of kind
• Clean the bed thoroughly, brush the bed spring
• Make the bed
• Spread a clean material or sheet of paper on the bed the place all small ornaments carefully on the bed
• Sweep down the ceiling, walls, doors and windows and remove all cobweb
• Sweep the floor thoroughly. Reach all corner and clean according to types and leave to dry
• Replace the curtains and mosquito net.
