To a scale of 1:20, draw the detail of section Y-Y of the building from foundation to the ceiling.
Observation
Some of them did well by:
- representing the ground floor elements correctly;
- showing the sectional view of the super-structural walls properly;
- showing the doors, windows and lintels/beams in section correctly.
Many of the candidates that attempted this questions failed to:
- show the wooden wardrobe;
- label and dimension the detailed drawing;
- show the threshold steps;
- indicate the ground level.
