General Comments

The standard of the paper was high and compared favourably with those of previous years. The questions were well framed and rubrics were clear. The marking scheme was exhaustive and adequate.

The performance of the candidates this year with a population of 1,068,564 and a raw mean score of 31 and standard deviation of 10.91 was worse than that of WASSCE for School Candidates, 2022 which had a population of 1,048,242 with a raw mean score of 37 and standard deviation of 09.54.
