Some of the weaknesses identified in candidates performance are:
(1) poor attention to the rubrics;
(2) poor expression of ideas;
(3) inadequate preparation for the examination;
(4) misinterpretation of questions.
In order to overcome the identified weaknesses, candidates are advised to
(l) study the syllabus and prepare adequately for the examinations; (2) study the rubrics before attempting the questions;
(3) improve on their grammatical expressions;
(4) seek the assistance of qualified and competent Art teachers while preparing for the examinations.
