The standard of the paper compared favourably with previous years. The questions achieved good coverage of the syllabus.  The rubrics were clear and concise while the Making Scheme was exhaustive.

The performance of the candidates was poor than that of the previous year given the raw mean score of 18 and standard deviation of 10.30 compared to a mean score of 17 and a standard deviation of 9.43 in the May/June 2008 WASSCE with candidature of 9,216.
