The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years. 
The questions were straightforward, worded in simple and clear grammar.  The Marking scheme was comprehensive such that it catered for the interest of the various categories of candidates that sat for the examination.
However, candidates’ performance was fair as compared with the previous years.
