This question was said to be apt by many examiners because majority of the candidates were familiar with Iddah and its types in practical terms.  Theoretically now, many candidates who chose the question performed very well with the exception of few who could not point out types of Iddah such as Talaq, Wafat and Mafqud.  For another set of candidates, mention was made of types of Talaq such as Li’an and Zihar.  On the average, candidates’ performance was better.
