- Draw a combined rainfall and temperature graph for the station.
 - Identify the climatic type represented by the data.
 - Give two reasons for your answer in (b) above.

This question was attempted by few candidates and their performance in the question was poor. Quite a good percentage of the candidates who answered the question could not draw the graph correctly. Similarly, some candidates could not identify the climatic type. The art of graphing could be mastered only through practice exercises and all geography students should master rainfall and temperature graph. The climatic type is Tropical Continental Climate (Sudan type)
  and the reasons are:
  -           rainy season starts in May and ends in September.
  -           single maximum rainfall in August.
  -           mean annual temperature is about 27⁰c.
  -           high temperature all year round.
  -           annual range of temperature is about 10⁰c.
