Few candidates attempted this question and the scores of those who attempted it were generally poor as most of the candidates could not plot the graph correctly. To plot the correct graph, candidates were expected to derive the mean temperature for the station. Thereafter, they were to obtain the positive and negative deviations of temperature from the mean temperature. The plotted graph should reflect the real temperatures on the left hand side of the y axis while the positive and negative deviations from the mean temperature should be reflected on the right hand side of the y axis. The mean temperature line should also be clearly shown. Most candidates were able to calculate the annual range of temperature and state one other way of showing the statistics. Other ways of showing the statistics are as follows:
- Simple line graph.
- Simple bar graph.
- Divided bar graph.
