General Comments

The Chief Examiner reported that the current paper is comparable to those of the previous years in all aspects. According to the report, the questions were unambiguous, candidates - centered and within the scope of the syllabus. The rubrics were also the same as for previous years. The marking scheme was clear, flexible and lenient to the candidates.
The general performance of the candidates was reported as not being different from those of previous years. Cases of non adherence to the rubrics of the questions were observed. There was also no significant improvement in the usually poor performing areas of the syllabus such as vectors and mechanics.
