The standard of the paper compared favourably with that of the previous years.  The questions were straightforward and within the scope of the Syllabus.  The rubrics was clearly stated and the Marking Scheme was comprehensive enough to take care  of average candidates.

However, there was no significant improvement in the overall candidates performance when compared with those of the previous years.
