The standard of the paper was high and compares favourably with those of previous years.  The questions were reported to be clear, unambiguous and test various aspects of the syllabus.  The marking scheme was detailed, clear and fair to all candidates.

The raw mean score of 35 and standard deviation of 16.94 indicated that the performance of the candidates was lower than that of May/June 2013 WASSCE with a raw mean score of 44 and standard deviation of 15.72.
