A SUMMARY OF  CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES 
                         Candidates’  weaknesses were shown in their inability to:
                         -  state the purpose of the suspension  system of a motor vehicle;
    -   list types of springs used in the  suspension system;
    -   explain sprung and unsrung weight;
    -  explain why the chassis frame is  narrowed at the front and upswept at the  rear.
                         (2)       SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING  WEAKNESSES
                        In order to  overcome the above weaknesses, candidates were advised to study seriously  before sitting for examinations.
