OBSERVATION
Most of the candidates who attempted this question could not give the required responses the various parts of the question. The required responses are as follows: (a) (i) Independent front suspension (ii) P lower arm Q coil spring R upper arm S Road wheel T Chassis frame (c) Springs used in motor vehicle are coil, leaf, rubber, air and torsion bar. (d) The purpose of the damper is to reduce the oscillation of the spring.
