Some candidates wrote good essays on their chosen topics, while the majority could not express themselves well. The length of most essays were short, far below the expected 300 words. Candidates misinterpreted question 1d as a result of tone-mark. Paragraphing was not properly observed and subject matters in most cases were lost.
