Candidates’ performance in this question was not encouraging. They were expected to list five (5) places of articulation but unfortunately many of them mistook “ibi-isenupe” (place/point of articulation) for “ona-isenupe” (manner of articulation). Worse still, the candidates who answered this question could not describe the places of articulation not to talk of giving example of the articulators. In other words, they could not identify the articulator either. The candidates need some coaching in this area of the syllabus.
