Many candidates did not follow the dimension shown on the drawing. Some candidates made it through dovetail joint instead of lap dovetail joint.
To overcome these weaknesses, candidates should be encouraged on how to produce a work piece using the dimensions given on the drawing. More practical assignments should be given to candidates. Also, students should be taken to standard woodwork shops and sites.
