Their weaknesses included:

- ineffective treatment of important aspects of the design;
- poor use of space provided;
- inadequate use of illustration;
- rough finishing;
- improper use of materials;
- non firing of clay works;
- lack of understanding of what questions demand;
- ineffective use of perspective;•
- violation of rubrics.
(l) the weakness can be addressed through constant practices of drawing and design with particular attention to layout, planning and originality;
(2) proper knowledge of principles and elements of art;
(3) proper teaching of all aspects of visual art;
(4) visit to places of exhibitions and close attention to bill boards adverts and the likes
