The question required accurate drawing of a male model wearing a pair of shorts, having his left leg placed at the foot of a ladder against a wall, with his right leg on the first rung of the ladder and his hand holding the ladder at a point slightly higher than where the left hand holds the ladder.
This option got the least attention of the candidates but the few that attempted the question performed creditably. There was good rendering of drapery which showed candidates' power of observation of major fold lines on the cloth of the model. However, some candidates could not draw the model well. They could not draw the grip of the hand on the ladder and their works lacked baseline, making the pictures float.
It was observed that this question attracted more candidates this year compared to previous years.
