The performance in this paper was generally poor. There were no particular strengths exhibited by all the candidates. However, a good number of the candidates were able to correctly:
- list the factors which determine the mass of an element deposited or liberated during electrolysis
- classify the following liquids into electrolytes and non-electrolytes.
- distilled water
- alkalis
- alcohols
- salt solution
- determine tension in string
- define wavelength, frequency and spaced and stale the relationship between them.
