Observation

This numerical question on the elastic property of materials was not popular among the candidates.  However, the performance was fair.  The candidates were given enough data but could not get it correctly because of their inability to correctly

    1. convert units that is from mm2 to m2
    2. evaluate the product of indexed data.

The expected answer is

Y   =     F/A
            e/1

             or F  =  YAe
