The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of previous years. The
rubrics were clear the marking scheme was flexible .and exhaustive. The questions were unambiguous and clearly itemized to ease understanding. The candidates' performance was better than that of previous year.
The candidates' population 9,780 had a raw mean score of 19 and a standard deviation of 10.20 as against a raw mean score of 15 and a standard deviation of9.70 in the May/June 2006 WASSCE with candidature of 8,782.
