The candidates’ weaknesses include:
- inadequate knowledge about middle distance race;
- non familiarity with the duties of a lap scorer;
- poor understanding of the procedure for the underhand upward pass style of the non visual baton take over in a relay race;
- inability to explain when kick off, goal kick, penalty kick and corner kick is awarded.

The following remedies were suggested for overcoming the weaknesses:
- Candidates should be exposed to the practical activities involved in the subject;
- Candidates should also be conversant with the syllabus.
