(a)(i) Draw a badminton court and label the lines.
(ii) State the dimensions of the table in table tennis game.
(iii) Name two officials in table tennis game.

(b )(i) State when the ball is in play in tennis game.
(ii). State three rules guiding service in a badminton game.

 (c) Explain each of the following terms as used in tennis games:
(i)  ace;
(ii)  love;
(iv)  rally.

Observation

This question was very popular with the candidates. In question 7(a)(i-iii), majority of the candidates were able to draw a badminton court and label the lines, state the dimensions of the table in table tennis game and name the officials in the table tennis game. Also, in question 7(bi) and (ii), most of the candidates could state when the ball is in play in tennis game and state rules guiding service in a badminton game. In question 7(c), many candidates could not explain terms such as ace, love and rally as 'used in tennis game.

Ace: - A valid, fast served ball that the opponent cannot receive/reach elude opponent.
Love: - When a score is zero/m> point.
Rally: - Hitting the ball back and forth over the net/continuous play between opposing players.
