This question was popular with the candidates. Majority of the candidates were able to state instances when a ball is consider dead in a tennis game and mention the categories of games in tennis as demanded in question 6(a)(i) and (ii).
In the question 6 (c )(i & ii), most of the candidates could state instances when a player loses a point in a table tennis game and equipment needed during a table tennis game.
However, many candidates could not state instances when a let is called in tennis game as demanded in question 6(a) (iii). Also, most candidates could not give the standard length and breadth of doubles tennis court and doubles badminton court as requested in question 6(b )(i) and (ii). The expected answers include:

- a served ball touches the net and lands in the opponents correct service court;
- the' ball in play is broken;
- the play is interrupted/explained;
- the receiver is not ready;
- the umpire senses danger/uses his discretion.
