This question was well attempted by candidates. In the question 5 (a) (i & ii), majority of the candidates could draw and label a handball court and state instances when a goalkeeper is
penalized in a handball game.
In the question 5(a)(ii) and 5(b) (i) and (ii), most candidates state the similarities between handball and basketball games and list skills in hockey game.
However, some candidates could not explain the term field shot as used in basketball game and state instances when a return is valid in a volleyball game.

This is shot made into the basket from anywhere in the court during play.
Instances when a return is valid in a volleyball game:
- when the ball is played across the net within the maximum, of three touches;
- when no net foul is committed;
- when no centre line foul is committed;
- ball crosses the net in between the antenna;
- when no ball handling fault is committed;
