The following weaknesses were identified:
(a)Lack of adequate preparation for the examination by teachers and candidates;
(b)Poor knowledge of the syllabus;
(c)Lack of qualified music teachers.
Candidates performance could be better if
(i)Teachers and candidates adequately prepare for the examinations;
(ii)They extensively study the syllabus ahead of the examination;
(iii)Qualified music teachers are employed by the school authorities.
