The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years. The rubrics were clearly stated and there was no ambiguity in any of the questions. The questions were all within the scope of the syllabus.

The comprehensiveness of the Marking Scheme catered for the various categories of candidates that wrote the examination.

Candidates performance was generally poor when compared with those of the previous years.
