Candidates' strength was obvious in questions 2 (Melody Writing),
3 (Two-Part Writing), 4 (Chord progression), 5 (Cadences) and 7 (Identification of Themes).
It was remarkable that candidates' aural perception had improved. This must have been as a result of adequate preparation.
