(b) Give any two similarities and one difference between the guitar and the violin

(c) Identify any two musical types in which the guitar is prominent.

Observation

Most candidates were 'at home' with the questions, they indeed rightly supplied the expected answers. Some of which are

(a) fixing the pick-up to the sound box

(b) Similarities

(i) Both have string
(ii) Both have resonators
(iii) Both have bridges
(iv) Both have finger board

Differences

Guitars normally have frets while violins don't

Guitars have six strings while violins have four

Violins can be bowed/plucked while guitar can only be plucked.
