TESTA
1. The following materials are supplied:
(a) one flat mild steel plate,105mm x75mm x 3mrn;(for parts A and B);
(b) two countersunk head screws (M6x6);
(c) one cotton bag, 80mm x 70mm;
(d) two tie-on labels

2. The diagram below shows the assembly and detailed views of each part of a fitting exercise. Using the materials supplied, prepare the parts and assemble the pieces.

Observation

The requirements of this practical question are candidate’s ability to:
- read and interpret drawings
-transfer the dimensions on drawings, to the work piece (metal)
     -cut file to dimensions and drill the holes
Almost 100% of the candidates attempted this questing. Some of the candidates performed excellently while others performed poorly
