Most of the candidates did not take the time to understand the questions before attempting them.

This was discovered as an offshoot of the candidates not reading the set texts. It is also plagued by other attendant problems i.e. poor grammatical structures, bad spelling, poor handwriting etc.

Candidates should actually read with the syllabus as a guide in preparation for examinations.
