OBSERVATION

Here candidates were asked to give the meaning of ‘okwu mbite’ i.e. borrowed words and to give four examples.
As the name implies, borrowed words are words loaned from other languages in the course of the growth of the Igbo vocabulary. Some examples of such words are:

Sapo, akamu, moimoi, televishon, bool dg.

Many candidates were conversant with this question. They scored high marks too.
