Part (a) was very well comprehended as those living things that bug them and could cause infection. Just few did not understand the question and wrote about pests that infest animals as house hold pests. Section (b) was well attempted too only few students wrote the use of insecticide as a way of preventing pest infection in the home. The guidelines for spraying insecticides was also well attempted in section (c) Some candidates forgot to stress that all humans should go out before spraying to avoid choking or even death.

- before spraying, ensure there is no naked fire to cause fire outbreak - spray away from you, not towards you
- leave room immediately after praying
- open door and windows to air room before use and after insecticide
