The 'a' part was popular with the candidates and those who attempted it were able to Identify some of the political parties in the Second Republic which Included; National Party of Nigeria (NPN), Unity Party' of Nigerian (UPN), Nigerian People's Party (NPP), Great Nigerian people’s Party (GNPP),Peoples Redemption Party (PPP}, peopl1es' Redemption Party (PRP), etc.

The 'b' part was poorly attempted Most candidates provided incoherent answers and failed to expatiate on salient points which Included:
(i)There was relative peace in the country during this period;
(ii)State pardon was granted Emeka Odumegwu ojukwu;
(iii)Nigeria earned huge foreign exchange through the export of crude, oil.
(Iv)Launching of the Green Revolution to encourage agriculture etc.
