This question was popular among candidates and it was properly answered. Candidates were able to define skeleton and also state the functions of the human skeleton. However they could not give satisfactory description of how muscles bring about movement of the forearm.
The expected answer was:
How muscles bring about movement of the forearm
- antagonistic muscles attached to bones work in pairs
- the flexor causes bending
- the extensor causes straightening
- at the elbow, when he biceps muscle contracts
- when the triceps contracts
- the biceps is relaxed
- and the arm is straightened.
