(i)      diagram I;
(ii)     diagram II.                                                                    [2 marks]

                        (c)    (i)      State five observable signs of the condition in I.         [5 marks]

 (ii)     List four local sources of food each that will aid in 
           treating the conditions in I and II.                                [8 marks]

(iii)   Outline two ways by which the illustrated
         conditions can be prevented.                                         [2 marks]

This question was attempted by many candidates, and the  candidates’ performance was highly impressive.

In part (c)(ii) candidates were not able to list local sources of food that will aid in treating the condition II.
