Explain the articulation of the consonant /I/

Observation

The question is on phonology and the candidates were required to explain how the consonant /I/ is being articulated, showing the manner, place and the position of the glottis in articulating it.
For instance, /I/ is an alveolar sound, when articulating it the tongue approaches or makes contact with the ridge. In short, /I/ is voiced alveolar lateral.
A takaice /I/- bahanke ?yar jirge mai ziza ce. Candidates? performance in the question was poor.
