The standard of paper compared favourably with that of previous years. The questions were straightforward, clear and devoid of' ambiguities. They were drawn to cover the entire Syllabus and marks were evenly distributed. The levels of thinking were also adequately covered by the entire questions. The rubrics were clearly stated and precise.
The marking scheme was elaborate, exhaustive and comprehensive enough to take care of average candidates.
The performance of candidates in the paper was fairly good and compared favourably with previous years.
