GENERAL COMMENTS ON THE PAPER AS A WHOLE

The standard of the paper was comparable with those of previous years. All the questions that were set were syllabic and were widely spread across the syllabus. The language of construction was simple, straightforward English. The marking scheme was exhaustive and met the demands of the questions. The performance of the candidates fell below that of the previous year.
