Most of the candidates attempted the question but the performance was very low especially in section (a) which asked about the settlement, candidates missed out points like.
- presence of minerals;
- presence of social amenities;
- heterogeneous population;
- easily accessible etc.
Question 1 (b) in which candidates were expected to state the ways in which interdependence exist between rural and urban settlements was well discussed.
